公费医疗制度是我国社会主义保障事业的一个组成部分,对于保证国家干部、职工的身体健康,促进社会主义建设事业的发展起着重要的作用。党和政府历来十分重视这项工作,已把它列入国民经济发展“八五”计划,李鹏总理等国家领导人曾多次作过重要指示,充分体现了党中央、国务院对广大干部、职工的关怀和爱护,为我们进一步加强公费医疗的管理与改革指明了方向,我们一定要十分重视做好这项工作。现将福建省部分市、县公费医疗改革的做法摘要刊登,供各地借鉴与参考。
The public medical service system is an integral part of China’s socialist security undertaking and plays an important role in ensuring the health of the national cadres and workers and promoting the development of socialist construction. The party and government have always attached great importance to this work and have included it in the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” for national economic development. Premier Li Peng and other state leaders have repeatedly given important instructions, which fully reflects the Party Central Committee and the State Council’s cadres and workers. The care and love for us have pointed out the direction for further strengthening the management and reform of publicly funded medical care. We must attach great importance to this work.
