《忘掉她》是中国新诗理论家闻一多的一首悼念亡女之作,也是中西结合的典型代表。诗中各种意象繁密而具体,诗人的哀伤之情、悲痛之意可以从中体现。尤其是花的意象,不仅是受美国诗人蒂斯黛儿诗的影响,也是诗人融合了中诗传统的再创造。以花喻人,凸显红颜不再,韶华易逝,让人扼腕叹息、心生悲痛。诗歌格律整齐,一咏三叹,“花”之意象反复出现,突出地体现了诗人对音律美的追求。“花”这一意象在中外诗人作品中的运用也让我们看到了不同地域人情、风俗文化对同一事物的不同理解。
