1988年以来,冰鲜鱼出口在舟山市异军突起,出口量和创汇额连年大幅度上升。1988年通过省有关渠道代理出口的冰鲜鱼仅80吨,创汇17.3万美元。到1990年,自营出口的冰鲜鱼增加到1608.91吨,创汇额达553.75万美元。1991年1至9月,冰鲜鱼出口势头更猛,自营出口量达到4944吨,创汇额1417万美元,冰鲜鱼在全市自营出口海水产品总量中的比重已由1989年的27.9%,提高到64%。
