In the Huangyang ditch in the western part of the Maolan Nature Reserve, there has been a concentration of contiguous growth of the boxwood for centuries. Some of them crossed the stone, some coiled on the rock, densely encircled, like a blue ribbon between the mosaic landscape. Karst area for this shining pearl and adds a beautiful scenery. The boxwood forest 1000 meters long, an average of 20m wide. All of the boxwoods grew above the stones at the bottom of the ditch. When the rainy season approached, the clear water ran into the Huangyang ditch, and the three-foot tall boxwood forest turned into a water jungle. The stream hovers over the roots of the tree, surging in the moss and green grass, between the gray branches and green leaves. Waves swept through, along with the Paphiopedom floated, like the wind Pro green curtain yarn, such as Jade fell into the Qiong pulp. It is said that in the past decades, there were more and more boxwoods here. Because of the devastation of livestock and animals and the snow residue frost, the boxwood became less and less dwarfed, and there was no flowering and germination for a few years. Perhaps because of this, these boxwood trees became large, sturdy, peculiar
