华能汕头电厂３００ ＭＷ 汽轮机保护系统由液压和电气两套保护回路组成，前者设置了两个危急遮断器，后者设有两个电磁遮断器。两套回路互为补充，又密切联系。同时本机组还设置了一套超速预保护装置，因此机组十分安全。
Huaneng Shantou Power Plant 300 MW turbine protection system consists of two sets of hydraulic and electrical protection circuit, the former set up two critical circuit breaker, the latter with two electromagnetic circuit breakers. The two circuits supplement each other and are closely linked. At the same time this unit also set a speeding pre-protection device, so the unit is very safe.
