国立新加坡大学生物科学院S.H.HO和Y.Hauang报道。从肉豆蔻和大蒜提取的香料油对赤拟谷盗和玉米象进行生物活性的研究。从肉豆蔻种子和大蒜提取的香料油,对玉米象成虫以及赤拟谷盗成虫和幼虫具有毒力作用。对防治玉米象成虫、肉豆蔻油既有触杀也有重蒸作用,并且其防治效果要优于赤拟谷盗成虫。然而,大蒜油对赤拟谷盗成虫更具有毒杀作用。比较这两种香料油,虽然对防治玉米象成虫,肉豆蔻油要比大蒜油有效,但它不能像大蒜油那样去防治赤拟谷盗幼虫。同时,这两种香料油可减少赤拟谷盗卵的孵化;肉豆蔻油也能减少其幼虫的存活率。当食物用这两种香料油处理,玉米象和赤拟谷盗的第一代减少。进一步做营养试验表明,肉豆蔻油能抑制这两种仓虫的生长、取食和对食物的利用。

Spice oils extracted from nutmeg seeds and garlic have toxic effects on adult corn and adult adults and larvae. On the prevention and treatment of corn adults, both nutmeg oil touch and also have a re-steaming effect, and its prevention and control is better than the red-fed adults. However, garlic oil is more toxic to adults of Antarctic bratwurst. Comparing these two types of spice oils, although nutmeg oil is more effective than garlic oil in controlling corn-like adults, it does not work as well as garlic oil in controlling red-legged larvae. In the meantime, these two types of spice oils reduce the hatching of the eggs of Tribolium sp.; Nutmeg oil also reduces the survival rate of its larvae. When the food was treated with both spices, the first generation of corn and red tarragon decreased. Further nutritional tests show that nutmeg oil inhibits the growth, feeding and use of both of these species.
