It is always easy to elicit a vague notion of Bouguer’s anomalous interpretation, especially when higher gravitational and low-anomalous features occur simultaneously and, conversely, along regions of high gravitational gradients. Some researchers explain this phenomenon based solely on shear-wave motion on the previous fault (neutron and earth shield) and folds (shear synclines and anticlines). In some cases, this is correct, but in most other cases this is not the case. However, because of several subsurface structures, such as stepped faults and obliquely ruptured strata associated with dykes, the dike dips are oriented in a direction opposite to that of all strata in which the fractured rock moves horizontally and vertically, The situation will not cause this phenomenon.
