一九八七年三月在铜山县汉王乡个体烧饼店发生一起急性食物中毒。经流行病学调查,证实此起中毒系误食掺入烧饼中的氟硅酸钠所致,共九人食用,食后二小时内全部出现中毒症状。主要表现为:恶心、反复呕吐,腹部胀痛、稀便、全身乏力等,以呕吐为主,多为胃内容物,并带血丝。有的发生气急,心电图显示窦性心律不齐,冠状动脉供血不足。但血压正常,且无发热。用氟离子选择电极法测定烧饼中氟含量
