《秋坪新语》是清代乾隆、嘉庆之际刊行的文言短篇小说集,学界对该书作者并其生平事迹向来知之甚少。本文根据考订,认定其作者为张太复。并根据现存方志、家谱、笔记、诗文集等相关资料,考证其名号,辨析其家族世系,详考其生平,特别是考证其生卒时间、仕宦履历、生平游历、朋从交游以及著述作品等方面内容,并对旧说进行辨证,从而完成了对张太复生平更详细、准确的考察。本文还涉及对张太复诗歌与文言小说创作成就的评价,认为他对自己的诗颇为自负,其诗亦颇得乾嘉诗坛重要作家称赏;而《秋坪新语》对《聊斋志异》既有承袭又有兴革,虽成就不逮后者,但亦以一具体例证反映了乾隆朝后期文言小说创作的多层面向的转变。
“Autumn Ping Xin” is a collection of classical Chinese short stories published on the occasion of Qianlong and Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty. Academics rarely knew the authors of the book and their life stories. According to the examination, this article finds that its author is Zhang Taifu. And according to the extant dialect, genealogy, notes, poetry anthology and other related information, research its name, differentiate its family lineage, give a detailed account of its life, especially its birth and death time, Shihuan biographical, life travel, friends from friends and writing works And other aspects, and the dialectic of the old saying, thus completing the life of Zhang Taifu more detailed and accurate investigation. This article also involves the evaluation of the achievements of Zhang Taifu’s poetry and the classical novels, and holds that he is quite proud of his own poem. His poems are also praised by important writers of Qianjia poetic world; while “Qiu Ping Xin Yu” Inherited and reincarnated, although the achievements are not caught by the latter, they also reflect the multi-layered changes made by the later classical Chinese novels with a specific example.
