上海新建的虹桥宾馆外墙饰面大面积采用了从日本进口的马赛克块状闪光面砖,规格有95×45×7、配阳角砖45×45×45×7、95×45×45×7;108×60×8,配阳角砖156×52×60×8、108×60×60×8、150×68×60×8等。颜色有深黄、浅黄、淡黄、老黄色、银白、银灰、深灰等多种多样。有的又在釉彩中加入了各种金属粉剂,在光照之下,能闪闪发光,这种面砖具有小、薄、轻、实等特性,吸水量小,受温差影响小,易粘结牢固,耐久、美观、华丽;施工方便,工效高。
