大山下大桥初步设计为8×30m预应力混凝土T梁,全长247.04m。该桥前后路基均为挖方段,最大挖深达32.63m。原设计有18.2万方弃土,需租用弃土场约31亩,修筑施工便道890m。为减少工程造价,加快施工进度、保证安全生产、避免社会资源的重复浪费,在对该段路基软基进行处理后,取消了大山下大桥,不但解决了该段弃方严重的问题,而且保护了周围环境及植被,避免了严重的水土流失及耕地占用。
