举世瞩目的三峡工程是中华民族跨世纪的伟大工程,具有防洪、发电、航运等多项功能,经济、社会、环境效益巨大。为适应三峡工程建设和长江航运事业发展的需要,交通部决定在宜昌成立长江三峡通航管理局。日前,在宣布长江三峡通航管理局领导班子组建会上,刘松金副部长就组建三峡局的意义、职责及任务作了重要讲话。 刘松金副部长说,为配合三峡工程开工和一期工程建设,交通部设立了以长航局林云卿局长兼指挥长的三峡工程现场航运指挥部。
The Three Gorges project attracting worldwide attention is a great project of the cross-century of the Chinese nation and has many functions such as flood control, power generation and shipping. Its economic, social and environmental benefits are huge. In order to meet the needs of the Three Gorges Project and the development of the shipping industry in the Yangtze River, the Ministry of Communications decided to set up the Three Gorges Navigation Administration in Yichang. Recently, Vice Minister Liu Songjin made an important speech on the significance, responsibilities and tasks of setting up the Three Gorges Bureau at the founding of the leadership formation of the Three Gorges Navigation Administration. Vice Minister Liu Songjin said that in order to support the start of the Three Gorges Project and the construction of the first phase of the project, the Ministry of Communications has set up the Three Gorges Project Site Shipping Command, led by Chief Secretary Lin Yunqing and Chief of the Longboard Administration.
