自1992年9月至今,已有近2000艘老挝、缅甸、泰国船只进入景洪港,运输进出口货物5万多吨。而乘船经澜沧江到湄公河下游各国旅客也由1993年的4000多人次剧增到40多万人次。
Since September 1992, nearly 2,000 Laos, Myanmar and Thailand vessels have already entered Jinghong Port, transporting more than 50,000 tons of imported and exported goods. However, the number of passengers traveling by boat across the Lancang River to the lower reaches of the Mekong River increased sharply from over 4,000 in 1993 to more than 400,000.
