“艺术与科学”话题的热起至少在艺术界与李政道先生主持策动、清华大学美术学院承办的“艺术与科学国际作品展暨学术研讨会”不无关系。这个2001年5月31日至6月17日间在北京开幕并进行的大型活动广泛吸纳了艺术家和科学家以及国际艺术院校和学术界的介入,使得人们对“艺术与科学”的探讨不只是停留在“思”的阶段,还能以切实的交流行为和具体多样的作品演示出来。对艺术和科学工作者而言,彼此都将在沟通互动的过程中一改以往自我放逐于或“美”
The hot topic of “Art and Science” has been at least instigated by Mr. Li Zhengdao in the art world. The “Art and Science International Exhibition of Art and Symposium” hosted by Tsinghua University’s Academy of Fine Arts is not unrelated.
