由于条件所限,中小型图书馆一般无力承担自行装订期刊工作。通常作法是:把欲装订的期刊理齐打捆,列出名单,一起送交装订厂。待装订完毕后,再进行验收、登录、分类、贴书标、填写目录卡片等加工程序。这样仅完成后期加工就需相当长的时间。为此,我们改进工作程序,对其进行了换位、合并。具体做法是:送交装订厂之前,在装订名单上列出索书号,装订时索书号直接打印在书背。在查验索书号的时候,在目录卡片上同时填注当年入藏年
