From February 17 to February 22, the State Planning Commission hosted the third plenary session of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project Review Committee in Beijing to discuss and approve the “South-to-North Water Diversion Project Review Report.” The South-to-North Water Diversion Project is a major basic and strategic project to solve the serious shortage of water resources in northern China. It has a long-term interest in the sustainable development of our national economy. For more than 40 years, with the care of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, various departments have conducted a great deal of intensive and detailed planning
