陶建幸很有韬略。初次接触他的人,往往惊叹于他高大的身躯,因为需要仰视,所以在气势上就先夺人一筹。可能是学数学训练出来的思维(他毕业于南京大学数学系),谈话慢条斯理,逻辑缜密,并无咄咄逼人之势,但机锋却是暗藏了,观点也是犀利的。他又有多重身份:春兰集团公司董事局主席、首席执行官,春兰集团公司党委书记,博士生导师,第十六届中其中央候补委员,中共泰州市委常委。这位集企业家、学者、官员于一身的土生土长的江苏泰州人,自然对江苏的沿江开发有自己独特的见解。
