《禄劝彝族苗族自治县志》(1991— 2 0 0 0 )是一部比较成功的续志。主要表现在 :地方特色和时代特色鲜明 ,简洁 ,内容有所创新 ,图文并茂 ,文字流畅 ,印刷也不错。但也存在一些问题 :计算错误较多 ,缺少对前志纠错补遗的内容 ,有的章节缺少必要的指标 ,个别概念混乱。还有值得商榷的问题 :续志与前志的衔接应根据本地实际情况慎重处理 ,不宜一刀切 ;有关主要的经济社会指标 ,应在续志中有相应的地位 ;续志应加大入志人物分量 ,但要注意各部分间的平衡 ,以防畸轻畸重
