湖南省1957年戏曲汇报演出大会于去年12月16日在长沙市开幕,今年1月31日闭幕.参加汇报演出的有省直辖国营戏曲团体、省辖市、各专区和湘西土家族、苗族自治州等地包括19个剧种的代表575人,包括汉、苗、土家、瑶等四个民族.新发掘的桂阳昆曲、湘西丝弦戏两个剧种也参加了演出.大会期间共演出45场,78个剧目,有44个剧目获奖.其中湖南湘剧团的《琵琶记》、湖南花鼓戏剧团的现代戏《三里湾》、常德专区代表团的《两狼
