从黄河刘家峡、盐锅峡、八盘峡、青铜峡和三门峡等水电站多年的运行实践可以看出,水电站的枢纽布置对水轮机气蚀与泥沙磨损有一定影响,而有无排沙设施影响更为明显.在水轮机选型中,也必须充分考虑如何来减缓气蚀与泥沙磨损的措施,否则严重影响到水电站的安全运行.所以,在多泥沙河流上作水电站设计时,必须对各种影响因素都要充分考虑.过去,我们对这个问题的认识是不够深刻的,搜集的资料也有限,这里只能谈一些肤浅的认识.
