近年来的高考英语试卷给中学英语教师提供的最重要的信息之一,是必须强化快速阅读能力的培养。高中英语教学大纲“教学要求”一节中要求高三学生能以每分钟50~60个单词的速度阅读生词率不超过3%的有关人物传记,寓言故事,活动记述,社会文化,文史知识,科学小品等内容的材料,这与高考的实际要求尚有一定差距。不少考生反映完成全部答卷有困难,无暇斟酌推敲。缺乏速读能力,影响了考生的成绩,这个矛盾要求我们在教学中予以解决。
