高官腐败案的惩处在一定程度上反映了反腐败斗争的深入程度和中国打击腐败的决心;同时,高官腐败的变化特点也在一定程度上反映了中国腐败的整个变化特点和趋势。1980年以来,不断有高官受到处分,1989年掀起了一个小高潮;从1993年开始,受查处的高官人数明显增加,惩处了一批在社会上具有广泛影响的大案、要案。从案件的具体情况来分析,90年代的腐败要案从涉案金额上来看比80年代有了大幅度的增加,许多要案是与特大腐败案联系在一起的。
The punishment of the corruption cases of senior officials reflects to some extent the depth of the anti-corruption struggle and China's determination to fight corruption. Meanwhile, the characteristics of the corruption of senior officials also reflect to some extent the characteristics and trends of the entire changes in corruption in China. Since 1980, top officials have been severely punished and a small upsurge was set off in 1989. Since 1993, the number of senior officials under investigation has apparently increased, and a number of major and important cases with widespread social impact have been punished. Judging from the specific circumstances of the case, the number of corruption cases in the 1990s has increased substantially from the amount involved in the case compared with the 1980s. Many important cases are linked with the large corruption case.
