This photo was taken in 1927 by the participants of the Fifth Solvay Conference. It is almost certain that there is no second photograph in the world, and like this, there are so many and so concentrated in one picture High human elite. Solvay is a Nobel-like person, a scientist in his own right, a solid entrepreneur and a wealth of family fortunes for science. Nobel set up a scientific prize of his own name, and Solvay provided the funding for the world’s highest academic conference. This is the origin of Solvay’s meeting.
