新编初中英语教材是结合义务教育初中英语教学大纲精神、反映信息社会活动语言更为丰富与语文交流的要求,以及英语真实的语言材料的新颖教材。它吸收了现代语言的先进性,又继承了行之有效的传统教学方式,对英语教师在教法和教学方式上提出了多方面改革。下面笔者就初中英语教材的特点及教法谈谈自己的看法,以抛砖引玉。
