甘祖昌,江西莲花县人。1927年8月加入中国共产党,1928年8月参加中国工农红军,从此戎马倥偬30年,参加了井冈山斗争、五次反“围剿”作战和二万五千里长征、抗日战争,以及解放大西北等数十次战役战斗;曾任新疆军区后勤部部长之职,1955年被授予少将军衔。然而这位开国将军竟在1957年自请解甲归田,率全家大小回家乡,做起了从井冈山出山又回山的将军农民。他有官不做,有福不享,甘愿回到穷乡僻壤的山区当农民,的确使一些人难以理解。那么甘祖昌究竟是一个什么样的人呢?他的一生到底有过一些什么样的不凡经历和鲜为人知的故事呢?我们根据解放军文艺出版社最近出版的《将军级农民——甘祖昌传》一书,节选若干精彩章节,以飨读者。
Gansu Chang, Jiangxi Lianhua County. He joined the Communist Party of China in August 1927 and participated in the Red Army of Chinese Workers and Peasants in August 1928. Since then he has participated in the Jinggangshan War, the Anti-Japanese Campaign and the Long March of 25,000 and the Anti-Japanese War. Liberation of the Northwest and dozens of battle fights; served as Xinjiang Military Logistics Minister, was awarded the rank of major general in 1955. However, the founding general went so far as to go back to self-service in 1957 and took the family back to his hometown in size. He started a general peasant returning from the mountains and returning to the mountains in Jinggangshan. He did not do the government, blessed, willing to return to the backcountry of the mountain as a peasant, indeed makes some people difficult to understand. So what kind of person is Gazu Chang exactly what his life in the end had some kind of extraordinary experience and little-known story?
