新建本科院校普遍存在着学生英语基础较差,英语过级率较低的现象。大学英语作为我国高等教育的一门重要的基础课,是衡量一个学校的综合实力的重要标志。本文介绍了新建本科院校学生大学英语学习中存在的问题,对此进行分析并提出应对措施。新建高校应高度重视,努力提高英语教学质量,狠抓配套和保障,有效提高大学生英语水平和过级能力。
Newly established undergraduate colleges generally have a poor English foundation and a low grade in English. As an important basic course of higher education in our country, college English is an important symbol to measure the overall strength of a school. This article introduces the problems existing in college English learning for new undergraduates, analyzes and puts forward countermeasures. Newly established colleges and universities should attach great importance to efforts to improve the quality of English teaching, pay close attention to matching and protection, effectively improve college students’ English proficiency and abilities.
