达尔文的隐瞒在科学研究领域有一个约定俗成的习惯,即一个科学家在就某一研究发表文章时,应该向在他之前做过这方面工作的人致谢。这在今天往往表现为科技论文文末简短的“致谢”和附录的“参考文献”等。但是,鉴于首创在科学上的重要性,不少科学家故意避而不提一种新理论产生前别人所做的类似工作。这种情况在今天的科学研究中依然屡见不鲜。这其实是一种很不诚实的行为,甚至可以被视为一种剽窃行为。
Darwin's concealment There is a convention in the field of scientific research that a scientist should be grateful to someone who has done this work in advance of an article published in a particular study. This often manifests itself today as a short “Acknowledgments ” and appendix “References ” and so on. However, given the primacy of science, many scientists deliberately avoided mentioning similar work done by others before a new theory emerged. This situation is still common in today's scientific research. This is actually a very dishonest act that can even be considered as a plagiarism.
