福州的樟林村,位于福州城郊,素有“寿山城”之称,是寿山石加工制作的聚集之地。在樟林村的罗源街道,远远看去,长长的街道似烟雾缭绕,有如玄境。近临,才发现,这里粉尘弥漫,迫人掩鼻欲速逃离。然而,就在这粉尘肆虐的环境,整条街上的小店铺均敞开门窗,白天燃着灯,或三,或四,或七八个人紧挨着围坐在工作案台前,专注地琢磨着各自手中的寿山石。有的在雕刻,有的在削光,有的在磨光……整条街道上充斥着机器的轰鸣和嘈杂,还有那呛人的粉尘。俨然,樟林村已经形成了一个独特的寿山石加工产业群。这里聚居着来自各地的农民“手艺人”,他们用自己独特的工艺加工制作出一件件精美的寿山石作品,同时,这里也是他们演绎快乐与悲伤,打造幸福与梦想的安身之地。
