一直以来,功利主义在备受西方社会推崇的同时,却受到了东方,尤其是中国这样的社会主义国家中大多数人理论上的否定。然而,我们现行的社会主义市场经济制度却又恰恰说明了功利主义在中国社会的普遍存在。那么大多数人为什么会不顾现实而一味地否认功利主义呢?原因就在于他们并不能全面地正确理解功利主义,故而看不到功利主义的合理面。所以在此,我仅就功利主义的合理性作一个简浅的分析,希望能帮助一部分人正视功利主义。
Utilitarianism has been respected by the Western society all along, but has been theoretically denied by the majority of the socialist countries in the East, especially China. However, our current system of socialist market economy precisely illustrates the ubiquity of utilitarianism in Chinese society. So why do most people simply deny utilitarianism regardless of reality? The reason is that they can not fully understand utilitarianism correctly and therefore can not see the rational aspect of utilitarianism. So here I only make a simple analysis on the rationality of utilitarianism, hoping to help some people to look squarely at utilitarianism.
