认识和解决社会可持续发展问题，必须用马克思主义来指导，要有一个辩证的、历史唯物的、客观全面的多维视角和态度。马克思主义是通过提示社会有机体的内在矛盾及整个社会发展的历史规律来说明社会发展问题的。社会发展是一个综合问题，是社会各种因素交互作用的结果，而且是一种价值评价、实施社会可持续发展战略，首先要处理好各种利益关系；其次要做好制度的选择、安排和人的培养工作，形成合理的行之有效的利益约束机制；再次是物质文明、精神文明和民主政治建设一起抓，处理好生产各环节以及各种生产之间的关系。
To understand and solve the problem of social sustainable development, we must use Marxism to guide and have a dialectical, historical material, objective and comprehensive multi-dimensional perspective and attitude. Marxism shows the social development issue by suggesting the inherent contradictions of the social organism and the historical laws of the development of the entire society. Social development is a comprehensive issue, as a result of the interaction of various social factors. It is also a kind of value evaluation. In order to implement the strategy of social sustainable development, we must first handle all kinds of interest relations. Secondly, we must make the choice, arrangement and People’s training work to form a reasonable and effective mechanism for restraining the interests of the people. Once again, materialism, spiritual civilization and democratic politics are grasped together to handle the various links in production and the relations among various kinds of production.
