唐照千教授,江苏无锡人,1932年生,1984年11月1日因患肺癌不幸逝世,终年52岁, 唐照千是在新中国成长起来的著名力学家。1953年毕业于交通大学机械系汽车专业,毕业后留校。他的杰出才能受到沈三多和朱诚教授和同事的重视,1957年选送入清华大学力学班进修,兼任辅导教师,是老一代力学家钱伟长、杜庆华等教授的学生和助手。1959年回西安交通大学应用力学专业从事教学和科研工作,担任应用力学实验室主任。他继承振动力学家朱诚教
Professor Tang Zhaoqian, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, born in 1932, died of lung cancer on November 1, 1984 and died at the age of 52 years old. According to Tang, thousands of famous mechanics grew up in the People’s Republic of China. 1953 graduated from Jiaotong University Department of Mechanical Automotive, after graduation to stay. His outstanding talent was greatly valued by Prof. Chen Sanduo and Prof. Zhu Cheng and his colleagues. In 1957, he was admitted to the Mechanics Class of Tsinghua University for further studies. As a tutor, he was also a student and assistant of the older generation of mechanics such as Qian Weichang and Du Qinghua.
