组建新疆生产建设兵团,是周恩来同志与以毛泽东同志为核心的第一代中央领导集体作出的英明决策,为祖国统一、边防巩固、民族团结和新疆经济的繁荣发展找到了一条长治久安的道路。在兵团组建之初及成长发展时期,周恩来同志牵挂着兵团,关心着兵团屯垦戍边事业,并对兵团的工作作出了许多明确具体的指示。在周恩来同志逝世23周年的今天,兵团党委党史研究室撰写了这篇特稿,表达兵团人的深情怀念,读来感人至深。
The establishment of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is a wise decision made by Comrade Zhou Enlai and the first generation of the central leadership collective with Comrade Mao Zedong as the core.
