1999年8月24日,联想科技公司与美国3dfx公司在京举行了“迎接合作新纪元”新闻发布会。3dfx公司亚洲区副总裁理查德·沙克先生、3dfx公司亚洲区销售经理斯蒂夫·刘先生、联想集团副总裁曹之江先生、联想科技公司副总经理刘志军先生等双方高层人士到会。这是3dfx公司高层人士首次与中国大陆媒体记者的见面会。 在会议上双方就合作情况和今后的合作方向做了介绍,也对即将在中国市场推出的3dfx新产品做了简要的介 绍和演示。新闻发布会结束之后,3dfx公司亚洲区副总裁理查德·沙克先生接受了本刊记者的专访。
On August 24, 1999, Lenovo Technology Corporation and the United States 3dfx Corporation held a press conference in Beijing to welcome the new era of cooperation. Mr. Richard Shaker, Vice President of 3dfx Asia, Mr. Steve Liu, Sales Manager Asia 3dfx, Mr. Cao Zhijiang, Vice President of Lenovo Group, and Mr. Liu Zhijun, Deputy General Manager of Lenovo Technology, attended the meeting. This is the first time that 3dfx executives have met with media reporters in mainland China. At the meeting, the two parties introduced the cooperation situation and future cooperation directions, and also briefly introduced and demonstrated the new 3dfx products to be launched in the Chinese market. After the press conference was over, Mr. Richard Shaker, 3dfx’s vice president of Asia, accepted an exclusive interview with this reporter.
