教师1:东西南北和上下这些描述位置关系的词汇严格地讲属于自然地理的范畴,并不属于数学研究的范围。但现在考虑到各学科的整合,把这些内容放到数学教材中应该是有益的。因为小学生在现实中辨别东西南北比在地图上进行辨别困难得多。因此,我想这一单元的教学应该按照从易到难的原则,先让学生在地图上辨别东西南北,弄清这四个方向的关系,然后再到现实情境中去辨别,这样更适合小学生年龄特点,容易为他们所接受。这个时候,只要辨别出一个方向,其他方向就迎刃而解了。如,太阳从东方升起;太阳落山在西方;一般楼房的阳台在南边;在夜晚的星空,我们可以利用北极星辨别北方。
