2003年5月29日,我突然接到一位友人的电话,他在电话中告诉我:蒋锡金先生已于5月25日18时20分在吉林大学第一医院病逝,享年88岁。我被这突如其来的消息惊呆了。缓缓撂下电话后,我不免想起蒋锡金先生为我的一本书《鲁迅书信钩沉》写序的事情来。事情几经周折,我的《鲁迅书信钩沉》终于征得东北师范大学出版社的同意,由他们出版了。出这本书,得找人写个序,好让我这本薄薄的书厚重一点,名贵一些。我想起了著名作家、鲁迅研究家、教授蒋锡金先生。可是蒋先生并不认识我,贸然登门求写序,不大妥当。正好我的一位友人的亲戚与蒋先生很熟,我托他给蒋先生打电话,想不到蒋先生竟爽快地答应为我写序。我自然十分
On May 29, 2003, I suddenly received a phone call from a friend who told me on the phone: Mr. Jiang Sijin died at the First Hospital of Jilin University at 18:20 on May 25 at the age of 88. I was shocked by the sudden news. After I made my phone call slowly, I can not help but think of Mr. Jiang Sikin’s writing of a book entitled “Lu Xun’s Letters”. After several twists and turns, my “Lu Xun Letters” finally obtained the approval of Northeast Normal University Press, published by them. Out of this book, have to find someone to write an order, so that I thin the book thicker, more expensive. I think of a famous writer, Lu Xun researcher, Professor Jiang Xijin. However, Mr. Jiang did not know me, rashly to write order, not appropriate. Just a friend of my relatives and Mr. Jiang cooked, I asked him to call him Mr. Jiang, can not think of Mr. Chiang actually readily agreed to write me. I am very natural
