刘质平(1894-1978),原名刘毅,字季武,祖籍浙江黄岩,出生于浙江海宁。中国近代著名艺术家李叔同的得意弟子之一,中国现代著名音乐教育家。民国初年就读于浙江第一师范学校,受到恩师李叔同的赏识,着意培养,并资助他东渡日本,入东京音乐学校深造。
Liu Ping (1894-1978), formerly known as Liu Yi, word quarter Wu, native of Zhejiang Huangyan, was born in Haining, Zhejiang. One of the most proud disciples of the famous modern Chinese artist Li Shu Tong, one of the most famous modern music educators in China. In the early years of the Republic of China, he attended Zhejiang First Normal School and was appreciated by his mentor, Li Shutong. He intended to cultivate and sponsor him to go to Japan and study at Tokyo Music School.
