Xu Xiangshun, born an Italian, came to China at the age of three. His foster father brought him back to Shen’ao village of Xianyan Town, Rui’an City in East China’s Zhejiang province.Xu’s story started in Italy and he finally found his relatives in Italy, but between the beginning and the reunion were 55 years in China.It was during World War II that Xu lost his natural father, a soldier. When his father went to war and was never heard again, Xu was only 2 years old and his mother, Guisti Alcide, was pregnant. They were suffering and starving.
