2008年北京奥运会,既是中华民族的百年期盼,也是举世瞩目的一件大事。举办“绿色奥运”是我国向国际社会作出的庄严承诺。我省与北京山相依、水相连、地相邻,秦皇岛又承担着奥运比赛项目,特殊的地理位置决定了我省在“绿色奥运”中承担的重大责任。河北是钢铁大省、重工业大省,特殊的产业结构决定了我省在“绿色奥运”中肩负的艰巨任务。为了庄严的承诺,河北人民付出了艰辛努力,作出了重大贡献。
The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games is not only a century-old hope of the Chinese nation, but also a major event attracting worldwide attention. Holding the “Green Olympics” is a solemn promise our country has made to the international community. The province and Beijing Mountain depend on each other and the water is connected and adjacent to each other. Qinhuangdao also undertakes the Olympic Games. The special geographical position determines the great responsibility that our province takes in the “Green Olympics.” Hebei is a big province of steel and a big province of heavy industry. The special industrial structure determines the arduous task our province shoulders in “Green Olympics.” In order to solemnly promise, the Hebei people have made arduous efforts and made significant contributions.
