为什么经理们常常忙得不可开交,而下属却无所事事?主要原因就是下属的担子最终似乎都落在了经理们的肩上。管理时间分为三种:受上司支配的时间、受组织支配的时间以及由个人支配的时间。个人支配的时间又可分为受下属支配的时间以及自由支配的时间两部分。经理们应该最大限度地减少受下属支配的时间,从而增加自由支配的时间,然后利用所增加的时间更好地处理上司和组织布置的任务。然而,大多数经理没有意识到,他们把过多的时间花在解决下属的问题上。
Why managers are often too busy, and subordinates do nothing? The main reason is that the subordinates’ burden seems to have fallen on the shoulders of managers. Management time is divided into three types: the time that is dominated by the boss, the time that is dominated by the organization, and the time that is dominated by the individual. The time of personal control can be further divided into two parts: the time controlled by the subordinates and the free time. Managers should minimize the time controlled by the subordinates, thus increasing the free time, and then use the increased time to better handle the task of the boss and the organization. However, most managers do not realize that they spend too much time on solving subordinate issues.
