对于许多中国人来说,巴黎达喀尔拉力赛是一个兴趣模糊的赛事。很多对赛车、跃野运动感兴趣的人往往缺少最起码的金钱的支持,于是这些人在想象中看巴黎达喀尔;而另外一些在中国改革开放二十几年暴发起来的人拿着几百万去澳门豪赌,他们对于任何需要力气的事都已经兴趣怏怏,更别说充满艰辛和危险的巴黎达喀尔。还好有两个人同时具备了这两方面的条件,他们带着梦想出发了,于是巴黎达喀尔漫长的赛段上终于出现了中国人的身影,虽然他们只跨过了17个赛段的7个。
