Guan Xingya (an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering): The development industry should not neglect the small and medium-sized private enterprises in the eco-environmental petrochemical industry. Its characteristics are centered on large petrochemical companies and do some products that these large companies do not want to do, or do two or three products. Small and medium-sized private enterprises must pay attention to safety and “three wastes” in the development process. Often, small and medium-sized enterprises do not do well in this respect. In some parts of the country, due to pollution, it has caused great damage to the lives and health of the surrounding people. The reason is mainly due to some enterprises.
