最近,一些地方的民办教师来信反映:他们那里的民办教师不仅工资待遇低,而且在承担责任田、义务工等问题上也得不到应有的照顾。许多民办教师白天一整天忙于教学,晚上回家要种责任田不说,而且还要承担村里分派的各种义务工,不能出工的就要自己掏钱请别人代劳。这不但加重了民办教师的经济负担,分散了他们的精力,也影响了他们的工作积极性和教学质量的提高。民办教师是否还需承担各种形式的义务工?就此问题,我们走访了国家教委有关部门,现请他们答复如下:
