光纤通信对人们来说并不陌生。自20世纪80年代起,光纤传输就以传输容量大、损耗低、抗干扰强等优势,成为各种通信网的主要传输方式。光纤通信技术已成为现代通信的主要支柱之一,在信息化时代扮演着极其重要的角色。中央民族大学理学院陈根祥教授在光纤通信、光电子器件等领域已经从事了近20年的研究。作为国家民委“光传感与光子系统集成”创新团队的带头人,他和团队始终在这个给社会带来巨大变革
Fiber optic communications is no stranger to people. Since the 1980s, optical fiber transmission has become the main transmission method for various communication networks due to its advantages of large transmission capacity, low loss and strong anti-interference. Optical fiber communication technology has become one of the main pillars of modern communications and plays an extremely important role in the information age. Professor Chen Genxiang from the Faculty of Science of the Central University for Nationalities has been engaged in nearly 20 years of research in optical fiber communications, optoelectronic devices and other fields. As the leader of the innovation team of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the “Light Sensing and Photonics System Integration” team, he and his team have always brought great changes to the society
