我厂从1979年5月10日起,在303~#(2万千伏安)电炉上,用上海吴淞煤气厂特制的气煤焦作还原剂,进行冶炼75%硅铁降低电耗试验。五月十日,用气煤焦代替冶金焦做还原剂试验开始以后,炉况明显恶化,电极逐日上抬;电极周围锥体炉料结成硬壳,气体集中在电极周围,从一处或几处喷出,塌料频繁;大面料烧死;炉口温度升高,烫得工人无法操作,半环中的水烧成高压蒸汽。试验到第五、六两天时,由于炉底温度降低,出现出铁困难。产量由四月份的44.554吨/日降到40吨/日左右,电耗升到9341度/吨,破今年最高纪录。此时为试验第一阶段。五月十七日,根据厂物理俭验结果得知:造成第一阶段情况的主要原因是气煤焦
