运用金相显微镜、扫描电镜对摩擦焊接钻杆焊缝断裂失效进行了分析。结果表明,碳化物分布不均匀导致调质处理后在钻杆接头中产生“带状组织”。焊后不正确的热处理使焊缝组织中出现残存的条状分布的马氏体,此条状分布的马氏体使焊缝的强韧性下降,造成焊缝发生疲劳断裂失效。改进热处理工艺后,消除了残存马氏体,提高了钻杆焊缝的强韧性,从而提高了钻杆的使用寿命
The fracture failure of the friction welded drill pipe was analyzed by the metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope. The results show that the uneven distribution of carbides leads to the formation of “banded structure” in the drill pipe joints after quenching and tempering treatment. Incorrect heat treatment after welding causes residual martensite to appear in the weld microstructure. The martensite in the strip shape reduces the strength and toughness of the weld, resulting in fatigue fracture failure of the weld. Improve the heat treatment process, eliminating the residual martensite, improve the toughness of the drill pipe weld, thereby increasing the life of the drill pipe
