白桦在我县天然林区较为常见。其木材纹理细致、干形通直,用途十分广泛。为了改善树种组成,实行针阔混交,提高林地生产力,发挥森林的多种效能。我县于1979年秋,采集白桦种子8斤,1980年育苗0.8亩,出苗8万余株。1981年定苗亩产1万余株。两年生苗高50厘米,地经0.5厘米。此外,又继续育苗4亩,亩产苗量1.65万株。其具体作法是:1.种子处理,4月中旬,将种子用40℃
