目前我国上海、北京、广州等一些城市均已进入了人口老龄化城市到2000年还将有更多城市步入这一行列,人口老龄化问题已成为摆在中国人面前的现实问题,因此必须引起社会各界的足够重视, 老龄人口的医疗保健工作是卫生工作的重要组成部分,在今后的卫生工作中,老年性疾病的预防、治疗及康复将会越来越重要。为了使我国老年人口的预防保健工作稳步、协调发展,应从以下几方面努力。
