始终代表中国先进生产力的发展要求,始终代表中国先进文化的前进方向,始终代表中国最广大人民的根本利益,这“三个代表”是统一的整体,相互联系,相互促进。不断发展先进生产力和先进文化,归根到底都是为了满足人民群众日益增长的物质文化生活需要,不断实现最广大人民的根本利益。因而,代表中国最广大人民的根本利益是“三个代表”重要思想的核心。我们党来自于人民,植根于人民,服务于人民。我们致力于推进生产力的解放和发展,致力于推进社会主义文化建设,归根到底,都是为了更好地代表最广大人民群众的根本利益,全心全意为人民服务,最大限度地为人民群众谋利益。无论在革命战争年代,还是在和平建设时期,这都是我们党的根本宗旨,是党的全部任务和责任,是立党建党的出发点,
Always represent the development requirements of China’s advanced productive forces, always represent the direction for the advancement of China’s advanced culture and always represent the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people. The “three represents” are a unified whole, interrelated and mutually reinforcing. The continuous development of advanced productive forces and advanced culture are, in the final analysis, aimed at meeting the people’s growing material and cultural needs and constantly realizing the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people. Therefore, representing the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people is the core of the important thinking of the ’Three Represents.’ Our party is from the people, rooted in the people and serves the people. We are committed to promoting the liberation and development of the productive forces and our commitment to promoting socialist cultural construction. In the final analysis, we are all trying to better represent the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people, serve the people wholeheartedly and strive for the interests of the masses to the maximum. This is the fundamental purpose of our party, the party’s overall task and responsibility and the starting point for the founding of the party in both the revolutionary war years and the peace construction period.
