红十字运动作为一个全球性的人道主义运动,为世界的和平与发展做出了有目共睹的贡献。清末河南亦有不少士人与相关机构参与红十字会活动,但其时并未成立地方红十字组织。一地红十字运动的开端应从本地红十字组织的筹备成立起算。就现有资料来看,近代河南红十字运动的起始时间应以1912年为宜。探本溯源,不仅可为河南红十字组织的纪念活动提供相应的学理依据,更有助其发掘历史时期的人道财富,为当今的红十字运动服务。
As a global humanitarian movement, the Red Cross has made a remarkable contribution to the peace and development of the world. In the late Qing Dynasty, quite a few scholars and related organizations participated in the Red Cross Society in Henan Province, but local Red Cross organizations were not set up in that time. The beginning of a Red Cross movement should start from the establishment of the local Red Cross Organization. From the available information, the starting time of the modern Red Cross Movement in Henan should be 1912 should be appropriate. Probing can not only provide corresponding theoretical basis for the commemoration of Henan Red Cross, but also help to discover the humanitarian wealth of the historical period and serve the current Red Cross movement.
