【摘要】随着教学改革的不断深化，对高中英语教学质量也提出更高的要求。然而现行英语教学活动开展中，教学效果较差、学生学习兴趣缺失等现象仍较为常见，尤其在词汇教学方面问题更为突出，究其原因在于教学过程中未能采取有效的教学理论。通过教学实践研究发现，词块理论的引入对于改善词汇教学质量可起到明显效果。本文将对词块理论的相关概述、词汇教学中词块理论的应用功能以及高中英语词汇教学中词块理论的具体运用进行探析。
